History
Duke TIP Alumni are remarkable people who have significantly contributed to the world around them. As part of its 25th Anniversary celebration in 2004-2005, Duke TIP established the Distinguished Alumni Awards to recognize the significant contributions of TIP alumni. Awards are given in the following categories: Community Service, the Arts, and Career or Profession.

Qualifications
Nominees must have attended at least one Duke TIP summer session and be at least 25 years old.
Selection
Award winners will be honored during the Grand Recognition Ceremony in Cameron Indoor Stadium on May 19, 2008, on the Duke TIP Web site, and in the Perspectives newsletter. Selections will be made by Duke TIP staff in April.
