How to Apply
Applying for financial assistance is easy. We urge students who might not otherwise register for a talent search or consider applying for a summer, weekend, or e-studies course to use the links below to discover just how easy it is to apply for aid. Be sure to apply promptly, as applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.
4th/5th Grade Talent Search: Students must submit a signed 4th/5th Grade Talent Search Fee Waiver Letter with their Talent Search application form.
7th Grade Talent Search: Students must submit a signed 7th Grade Talent Search Fee Waiver Letter with their Talent Search application form.
Summer Educational Programs: Complete the Financial Aid Application that is found with the application materials for the program you wish to attend. Be sure to attach the required income tax return and tax form documentation as outlined on the Financial Aid Application Form.
- Academy and Center for Summer Studies application materials
- Field Studies application materials (note: aid is available only for domestic locations)
Weekend Educational Programs: Attach a copy of your family’s most recent federal income tax return, including all filed schedules and forms, to the Academic Adventures application or Duke University Scholar Weekend application.
E-Studies: Include a copy of your family’s most recent federal income tax return, including all filed schedules and forms, with the participant’s E-Studies application.
