Duke TIP

Summer Studies in India

The Duke TIP Summer Studies Program in India offers you the opportunity to work abroad with academically gifted Indian students entering grade 8. It entails working a three-week term at one international site. This program is unique in that it provides young scholars a chance to be exposed to college classroom instruction and residence hall living. An administrative team oversees students’ supervision and manages program operations. Highly qualified instructional teams teach classes with approximately 16 to 18 students, while carefully selected residential teams implement social and recreational activities outside the classroom. You should possess a genuine interest in the academic, social, and emotional growth of adolescents, exhibit maturity, a positive attitude, and a willingness to serve as a role model.
