About the Author

Ken Stewart is an AP Spanish instructor at Chapel Hill High School in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He is an experienced AP table leader and reader of the AP Spanish exams and serves as a national consultant to the College Board and to the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. Mr. Stewart has worked in test development with the National Spanish Examination and is the author of Duke TIP's AP Spanish manual and the Golden Age Art of Spain . He currently serves on the Executive Council of the American Association of Teacher of Spanish and Portuguese. In 1998, he was named Central North Carolina's Teacher of the Year. He has studied in Spain, Mexico, and Costa Rica, and he received his B.A. in International Studies and Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
