  • American Association for Gifted Children at Duke University
    The nations oldest advocacy organization for gifted children, the AAGC publishes a newsletter and Working Papers, a series serving the educational research community, and awards the Straka Scholarship to college bound students.
  • American Psychological Association Center for Gifted Education Policy
    Generates public awareness, advocacy, clinical applications, and cutting-edge research ideas that will enhance the achievement and performance of children and adolescents with special gifts and talents in all domains.
  • The Association for the Gifted
    A division of The Council for Exceptional Children, TAG promotes the welfare and education of children and youth with gifts, talents, and/or high potential and helps professionals and parents work more effectively with them.
  • The Davidson Institute
    An organization that recognizes, nurtures, and supports profoundly intelligent young people and provides opportunities for them to develop their talents to make a positive difference. The institute provides information about gifted legislation for each state, competitive scholarships, summer learning opportunities, and resources and support for families.
  • Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC)
    A premier database of journal and non-journal education literature. The ERIC online system provides the public with a centralized site for searching the ERIC bibliographic database of over 1 million citations and approximately 107,000 full-text non-journal documents for free.
  • Families of the Talented and Gifted
    Strives to build and strengthen relationships between individuals, families, and organizations for the benefit of intellectually gifted children and adults. The site provides information on giftedness and maintains several mailing lists (listservs).
  • The Hollingworth Center for Highly Gifted Children
    A national volunteer resource and support network for highly gifted children, their families, schools and communities.
  • National Association of Gifted Children
    A nonprofit organization of parents, teachers, educators, other professionals and community leaders who unite to address the unique needs of children and youth with demonstrated gifts and talents. NAGC provides publications and resources as well as holding an annual convention, which is held in a different state each year.
  • Supporting Emotional Needs of the Gifted (SENG)
    Seeks to inform gifted individuals, their families, and the professionals who work with them about the unique social and emotional needs of gifted persons.
