Severe Weather on Test Day
Should severe weather occur in your area on test day, some test centers may decide to close their center. Each testing location makes the decision to cancel and sets the re-schedule date. Duke TIP is not notified of closings.
Test Center closings are announced in the same manner as other school closings in the area-by way of public service announcements. Check the listings on local TV and radio stations to determine if your assigned test center will be open. Or you may contact the local school district for this information. Also refer to the test organization's Web Site for postings of closed centers. Please be aware that the decision to close may come later on Friday afternoon or evening.

Testing later than February 2008 excludes you from receiving an invitation to the recognition ceremony should you qualify, however your award will be mailed to you in the summer.
