The Duke TIP Experience, 9:15 am-10:15 am
with Joy Baldwin, Director of Identification and Support Services and Hollace Selph, Director of Educational Programs, Duke TIP
Come join this session composed of a panel of Duke TIP summer program alumni and learn firsthand about the impact Duke TIP has had on their lives both educationally and socially. They will discuss the challenges they faced in their local schools and the different ways they resolved them, often with the help of Duke TIP Summer Programs and Duke TIP friends. After their presentation there will be an opportunity for you to ask them questions.
Preparing for the College Admissions Process, 10:30 am-11:30 am
with Christoph Guttentag, Dean of Undergraduate Admissions, Duke University
With 24 years of experience in selective college admissions, Christoph Guttentag will share with you what both parents and students can do in the coming years to prepare for the challenges and opportunities of the college selection process.
